My interest in photography started from a very young age, with wanting to use my father's Halina 35X 35mm camera. My first camera was given to me by one of his work colleagues I believe it was a 35mm German design. The first Black & White film I put through the camera was disappointing. The photographs were blurry, and incorrect exposure. Since those first encounters City & Guilds Photo Journalism, Landscape and Portraiture photographic courses have contributed to the hobby.
